Lisa Meier

Personal Profile

In her book, “Holy Listening: The Art of Spiritual Direction,” Margaret Guenther likens Spiritual Direction to Midwifery. I identify with this role as spiritual midwife; a gentle guide and encourager, bearing witness to a glorious journey of forming and shaping. My Spiritual Direction training was completed in 2018 through SoulStream (BC), and I received an MA in Theology and Culture in 2023 from St. Stephen’s University (NB). Originally from Vancouver Island, I now live in Ottawa, Ontario, on the un-ceded territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe people, and enjoy exploring this new landscape with my husband and four children. I meet with directees across Canada and internationally, online, in person or by phone, and welcome the opportunity to connect with you.
