SUMMARY:Recycle\, Reduce\, Re-use\, AND Reorient
DESCRIPTION:Reflecting on life in a single use world\n\n\n\nTo acknowledge Earth Day\, John Lunn will be hosting an online recycling and beyond session. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOver the last couple of years\, a number of SoulStream partners have expressed interest in learning more about recycling “beyond the basics” as part of their contemplative response to the world. In this workshop\, John will share what he has learned about diverting waste ordinarily bound for the landfill\, acknowledging that much of what is possible depends on recycling services in your own area. \n\n\n\nA deep reflection on recycling can shift our awareness from what we do with waste to how we buy – and buy again. So John will go beyond recycling to consider two more of the classic environmental three R’s: Reduce\, and Re-use. Reflecting in this way will invite us even further to Reorient our view of life as consumers\, with implications for how we steward time and energy as well as money. \n\n\n\nIn addition to offering some context\, strategies\, tips\, and stories\, John hopes to open space for dialogue to encourage deeper reflection on these issues that are deeply connected to our humanity and to how we live in communities. \n\n\n\nRegistration\n\n\n\nRegister now to receive a Zoom meeting link before the event.
